A contingent of rooms with ensuite facilities has been reserved for conference participants at St. Anne's and Worcester College in Oxford. Reservations can be made using the secure online booking facility, and payment in full will be required at the time of reservation to guarantee a booking. Refunds for cancelled reservations are entirely at the discetion of the conference organisers, and under normal circumstances the booking fee will not be refunded once a reservation has been processed. Participants who do not wish to use the ECCS '06 college-based conference accommodation will need to make independent arrangements. Information about accommodation in Oxford is available at this website. Unfortunately the conference organisers are not able to assist individual participants in making their hotel bookings.

Financial sponsorship of the conference by the European Commission allows us to offer limited support to conference participants from countries, such as developing countries, where average income levels would make attendance of the conference very difficult. Preference will be given to participants who will be presenting a paper or poster at the conference. In order to apply for financial support, please e-mail by 19 June 2006 using the heading ECCS '06 Financial Support, provide a cover note explaining your circumstances, and attach a one-page CV, as well as identifying any conference submission that you have made. The application process for requests of ECCS '06 Financial Support is now closed, and applicants will be notified of our decisions shortly.
Co-sponsorship of the conference by the UK's Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council allows us to offer a limited number of bursaries for student participants, which will cover the conference fees in full. In order to qualify, students need to verify that they are in full-time education in the UK or elsewhere in the EU. Preference will be given to students who will be presenting a paper or poster at the conference. In order to apply for a student bursary, please e-mail by 19 June 2006 using the heading ECCS '06 Student Bursaries, and attach a one-page CV, as well as identifying any conference submission that you have made. The application process for ECCS '06 EPSRC Student Bursaries is now closed, and all applicants should have received e-mail notification of our decision.
